Jammu & Kashmir to Host 17th ATOAI Adventure Convention in Srinagar in December 2025
The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) has announced that its 17th Annual Adventure Convention will take place in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, from December 17–20, 2025. The event marks an important moment for India’s adventure tourism sector as it continues to grow and evolve in one of the country’s notable destinations.
Organized in collaboration with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, the convention will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, experts and stakeholders from across India to discuss the theme: “Indian Adventure Tourism: Safe, Sustainable & Resilient.”
The convention will address efforts to strengthen safety frameworks, support sustainable practices and expand India’s position in responsible adventure tourism.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Kashmir’s mountains, meadows and valleys, the event also reflects the region’s ongoing tourism readiness, supported by infrastructure development, community-based initiatives and enhanced safety measures.
Convention Highlights
The three-day convention will include:
Keynote sessions and panel discussions with voices from adventure travel.
Workshops and masterclasses on safety, innovation, sustainability and skills.
Awards recognising practices and achievements in the adventure sector.
An immersive field trip to Pahalgam to showcase eco-sensitive adventure models that involve and support local communities.
Leadership Insights
