ITC Hotels Opens Storii Jawai in Rajasthan
New boutique retreat expands presence in nature-led destinations
ITC Hotels has announced the opening of Storii Jawai in Rajasthan, expanding its Storii portfolio in a region known for its landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage.
Jawai is recognized for its granite hills, the Jawai River and its population of leopards, along with a variety of birdlife. The destination continues to attract travellers seeking nature-focused experiences.
Boutique retreat with focus on landscape and design

Storii Jawai features 15 keys, designed as a boutique retreat that integrates with its natural surroundings. The arrival experience begins with a tented reception, leading into a bungalow-style structure that serves as a central lounge and bar.
The accommodation includes villas and suites positioned across the site, designed to offer views of the surrounding terrain. Elements such as private courtyards, plunge pools and tented structures reflect a safari-inspired approach, while maintaining a contemporary design language.
Facilities and guest experience

The property includes an infinity pool located on an elevated point, offering views of the landscape and nearby water bodies. Dining focuses on regional cuisine, while curated experiences include wildlife exploration and spaces for relaxation and wellness.
The layout of the retreat has been planned to retain existing vegetation and integrate the development within the natural setting.
Cultural context and local collaboration

According to Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, the opening marks the addition of another Storii property and reflects ITC Hotels’ focus on experiential hospitality in distinctive locations.
Bharat Kumar Singh, Promoter 1st Gate Luxe Pvt. Ltd., noted that the project draws on local culture and traditions, emphasising a space that reflects the region’s heritage.
Jawai is also home to the Rabari community, and the destination continues to balance tourism activity with the preservation of its cultural and ecological landscape.
