Kuwait–India Connectivity Boosted as Jazeera Airways Expands Routes
The expanded network builds on existing routes to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram. The addition of key South Indian cities is expected to improve accessibility for passengers, particularly benefiting expatriate communities traveling between the two countries.
The expansion aimed at strengthening air connectivity during a period of high demand for travel and workforce mobility. The airline has already served over 11,000 passengers since resuming operations on March 20, reflecting continued demand for India–Kuwait travel.

Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, said, “India remains a cornerstone of our network, with the Indian community forming the largest expatriate population in Kuwait. Since resuming operations on March 20, we have served over 11,000 passengers under Project Vande Bharat, supporting the movement of people during a critical period. Expanding to 12 cities reflects our continued commitment to enhancing accessibility and maintaining essential connectivity between the two countries. We are grateful for the support of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Indian DGCA, and we look forward to adding more cities to our network, subject to approvals.”
Amid the present operational challenges, the airline is currently routing its services through King Fahd International Airport and Qaisumah Airport, creating an integrated air-and-land travel corridor between India and Kuwait.
By the end of April 2026, Jazeera Airways plans to operate across more than 31 destinations, with over 1,000 flights, offering approximately 200,000 seats and facilitating significant cargo movement across its network.
The airline continues to focus on supporting passenger travel, workforce mobility, and essential supply chains, reinforcing its role in connecting India and Kuwait.
