IndiGoReach Skill Development Programme Launched in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad Partnership Focuses on Skill Development and Inclusion
IndiGo’s CSR arm, IndiGoReach, has partnered with the Blind People’s Association (BPA) in Ahmedabad to launch a skill development programme for underserved communities.
The initiative aligns with IndiGo’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion and is designed to support approximately 300 young individuals. This includes Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and individuals from gender-diverse communities. The programme focuses on improving employability through structured training and recognised certifications across sectors such as travel, transportation, logistics, and hospitality.
Rohini Bhatia, Chairperson of InterGlobe Foundation and Advisor to the CSR Committee at IndiGo, said the partnership is centred on creating opportunities that enable individuals to participate more actively in the workforce. She noted that the programme aims to support skill-building while encouraging independence and access to employment.
Skill development continues to be a key area within IndiGo’s CSR efforts. During FY2025–26, the airline reached over one lakh individuals through various training and capacity-building initiatives. This programme builds on those efforts by focusing on inclusion and workforce readiness.
Focus on diversity and inclusion

IndiGo continues to promote diversity and inclusion within its workforce through initiatives under its EMBRACE framework, which includes Equity, Multiculturalism, Belonging, Respect, Accessibility, Community, and Empowerment. The airline currently employs over 220 persons with disabilities, representing more than 1% of its workforce.
Through its collaboration with BPA, IndiGoReach aims to contribute to a more inclusive employment landscape while supporting individuals in developing skills aligned with industry needs.
