IndiGo Chennai Service Strengthens India–Réunion Connectivity

According to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, the addition of Réunion Island to the airline’s network expands travel options for customers and strengthens connectivity between India and the region.
Réunion Island is known for its volcanic terrain, rainforests, waterfalls, and beaches. Several parts of the island, including its pitons, cirques, and ramparts, are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The island’s culture reflects influences from African, European, Indian, and Asian communities.
The destination also has a significant Indian-origin population, contributing to steady travel demand between the island and India. In addition to leisure travel, the route supports business, medical, and cultural travel.
