IHG and ALAND Announce the Opening of voco Gosford on the Central Coast
IHG Hotels & Resorts and ALAND have announced the opening of voco Gosford, an upscale lifestyle hotel located within The Archibald precinct on the NSW Central Coast. Premier Chris Minns officially opened the property.
The 130-room hotel introduces a contemporary stay option to the region, offering a pool with a swim-up bar, six dining and bar venues, and a range of meeting and event spaces, including the Altitude Grand Ballroom and Astra Rooftop Bar on Level 28.
Located about an hour north of Sydney, voco Gosford adds a new hospitality offering to the Central Coast and supports the ongoing development of Gosford’s urban landscape.
Matt Tripolone, IHG Hotels & Resorts Managing Director, Australasia & Pacific, said: “We’re pleased to open voco Gosford with ALAND and bring the voco brand to the Central Coast. The hotel combines modern design, varied dining options and the hospitality approach that defines voco hotels. We see strong potential in regional locations and look forward to welcoming guests from across Australia and beyond.”
Andrew Hrsto, Founder and Director of ALAND, added: “The Archibald Precinct was created to revitalise the centre of Gosford, and the opening of voco Gosford marks an important step toward that goal. We are pleased to partner with IHG to introduce a hotel that supports local employment, attracts visitors and adds new activity to the Central Coast.”
voco Gosford expands the brand’s presence in Australia, joining voco Gold Coast, voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley, voco Brisbane City Centre and voco Melbourne Central. Internationally, the voco portfolio continues to grow, combining the character of independent properties with the standards associated with IHG.
The hotel is part of The Archibald, a mixed-use precinct that includes accommodation, restaurants, bars and retail spaces designed to create a new destination for the Central Coast. Guests can book directly and access benefits through IHG One Rewards.
