IHG Signs Six voco Hotels in Mexico

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has signed six hotels in Mexico under its voco brand, in partnership with Alliance Hotels. The conversions are scheduled to open in 2027 across Cancun, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juarez, San Luis Potosi, Torreon and Nuevo Laredo, adding 848 rooms to IHG’s portfolio in the country.

The properties will undergo renovations to reflect the voco brand’s design and service hallmarks, including welcoming social spaces and updated guest experiences.

Upcoming voco Hotels:

  • voco Guadalajara Expo Area – 163 rooms near Expo Guadalajara, offering meeting facilities and regional and international dining.

  • voco Cancun – 160 rooms with lagoon views, meeting spaces and wellness areas, positioned for business and leisure travellers.

  • voco Nuevo Laredo – 120 rooms near the international bridge and ports, catering to logistics, trade and commerce visitors.

  • voco Torreon – 124 rooms with workspaces, meeting rooms, and dining options, serving key local industries.

  • voco San Luis Potosi – 135 rooms located in an automotive hub, close to industrial parks and commercial centres.

  • voco Ciudad Juarez – 146 rooms near the U.S. Consulate, designed for manufacturing, logistics and government travellers.

IHG continues to expand its conversion strategy in Mexico, while owners gain access to IHG’s commercial systems, technology platform and loyalty program, IHG One Rewards.
