IHCL Signs SeleQtions Hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The project involves converting an existing standalone resort and expanding the inventory to 120 rooms.

Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said Bengaluru continues to see sustained growth driven by its IT ecosystem and expanding economic base. She noted that North Bengaluru, including Devanahalli, is developing due to airport-led infrastructure growth and the presence of sectors such as aerospace, biotechnology, defence and education. She added that the signing marks the first SeleQtions hotel in Bengaluru and is part of IHCL’s strategy to strengthen its presence in key lodging markets, in partnership with BABA Developers Private Limited.

The SeleQtions Prakruthi Resort, Devanahalli, Bengaluru, will initially offer 115 rooms and feature multiple dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. Planned facilities include a spa, gym, and swimming pool, along with over 6,000 square feet of banqueting space and meeting rooms, supporting both social and corporate events.

Parvataneni Sasibhushan, Managing Director of BABA Developers Private Limited, said the partnership with IHCL aims to introduce the SeleQtions brand to Bengaluru and develop a hospitality offering in Devanahalli.

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Bengaluru will comprise 20 hotels, including 11 properties under development.
