Meyyafushi Maldives Welcomes Chef Nicolas Isnard for July Residency
Chef Nicolas Isnard to Curate Dining Experiences at Meyyafushi Maldives
Meyyafushi Maldives has announced a culinary residency with French chef Nicolas Isnard, scheduled for 20 to 26 July 2026. During the week-long programme, guests will have the opportunity to experience a range of dining events inspired by contemporary French cuisine.
Chef Nicolas Isnard is known for his work in Michelin-starred restaurants and has participated in culinary collaborations and gastronomic events across several international destinations. His residency at Meyyafushi, Maldives, will feature specially curated menus, chef-hosted dinners and interactive dining experiences.
One of the key events during the residency will be a five-course dining experience at Bubble, the resort’s underwater restaurant. Guests will be served a menu designed by Chef Nicolas while dining beneath the ocean’s surface and surrounded by marine life.
A separate five-course wine-pairing dinner will also be held at the Raa Wine Cellar, the resort’s overwater wine venue. The event will combine French-inspired dishes with selected wines for guests seeking a curated culinary experience.
In addition to guest-facing events, Chef Nicolas will work with the resort’s culinary team through training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance food and beverage offerings across the property.

Located in the Lhaviyani Atoll, Meyyafushi Maldives offers a range of dining and leisure facilities, including the Bubble Underwater Restaurant, an overwater wine cellar, an adults-only Sky Bar, a Sunken Lounge and a premium all-inclusive guest experience.
The residency forms part of the resort’s efforts to introduce visiting chefs and specialised culinary programmes to its guests throughout the year.
Reservations for the dining events will be available on a limited basis.
