IHCL Expands Island Presence with Two New Resorts in Lakshadweep
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has unveiled Bangaram Island and Coral Pearl, two IHCL SeleQtions resorts located in the Lakshadweep archipelago.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO, IHCL, said, “In keeping with IHCL’s legacy of introducing emerging destinations in India, the two resorts on Bangaram Island position Lakshadweep as a fresh offering on the global tourism map. Surrounded by clear waters and white sands, the 60-key Bangaram Island resort offers eco-conscious accommodation near the Arabian Sea. Guests can enjoy coastal cuisine, including both international dishes and Lakshadweep-style meals prepared using locally sourced ingredients.

Coral Pearl, Lakshadweep – IHCL SeleQtions features 50 glamping tents, designed for a comfortable experience close to nature. Guests can dine at Smok, the all-day restaurant, or relax at Calypso, a bar inspired by Lakshadweep’s marine stories. The resort also offers water-based and nature activities, including scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, and guided exploration trails.
Set in the Arabian Sea, Bangaram Island offers calm beaches, palm-lined shores, and marine life, providing visitors with a peaceful retreat with options for exploration.
