IHCL Expands Presence in Gurugram

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. This greenfield project will be branded as Taj.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of real Estate and development at IHCL, stated, “Gurgaon’s strategic location, coupled with its proximity to industrial corridors and Delhi-NCR, has made it a thriving commercial hub. This new development will offer a premium experience that caters to diverse segments, including MICE and weddings. We are delighted to partner with Tivoli Group to develop this hotel.”

The hotel will feature 225 guest rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy various foods at the all-day diner, bar, speciality restaurant, and multipurpose lounge. Additionally, the hotel will have banquet and meeting facilities, as well as recreational amenities such as a gym, spa, swimming pool, and social garden.

Gurugram’s strategic location near the NCR has accelerated its transformation into a corporate hub, attracting BPOs, IT companies, and multinational corporations. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have six hotels in Haryana, including two under development.
