Hyatt Plans Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort Opening in 2029

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that one of its affiliates has entered into a management agreement with Codelpa to develop Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana, a family-friendly all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic. The property is expected to open in 2029 and will be located about 40 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.

The resort will include 650 guestrooms, including a dedicated adults-only building alongside family-focused accommodations. The project follows the opening of Secrets Tides Punta Cana and reflects ongoing collaboration between Hyatt and Codelpa in the destination.

Javier Águila, President of the Inclusive Collection at Hyatt, noted that the company currently operates 34 hotels in the Dominican Republic, including 32 all-inclusive resorts, totalling nearly 17,000 rooms.

Resort to Feature Dining, Wellness, and Family Recreation Facilities

Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana is planned to feature five speciality restaurants and an international buffet, along with a snack bar, coffee parlour, ice cream venue, and a beach club serving food and drinks. Six bars, including a juice bar at the spa, will offer beverage options for guests.

Wellness facilities are expected to include a fitness centre, yoga studio and outdoor gym, while the spa will offer a sauna, steam rooms, a hammam, a hydrotherapy circuit and a relaxation lounge. Additional services, such as spa treatments, a beauty salon, and a bridal suite, are also planned.

Family-focused facilities will include a water park and five pools, including an adults-only pool and a children’s pool. Recreational activities are expected to include pickleball and tennis courts, mini golf, climbing walls, playgrounds, a ropes course and a bowling alley. The resort will also feature a Kids Club and Teens Club with supervised activities.

The development will add to Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection presence in Punta Cana alongside planned openings such as Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana and Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana, both scheduled for 2026.

Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolio currently includes more than 150 resorts and over 55,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
