Hyatt Plans Luxury Brand Expansion with Global Openings in 2026

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced at ILTM Cannes its planned luxury openings for 2026, highlighting the next phase of the company’s global growth in the luxury segment. Set to open in the first quarter of 2026, Miraval The Red Sea will be Hyatt’s first resort outside the United States. Located on Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, this adults-only retreat will feature 180 guestrooms and suites, wellness programming, and a 40,000-square-foot spa.

Miraval’s expansion reflects the increasing demand for personalized luxury travel experiences. The brand focuses on spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness, aligning with trends in traveller preferences.

Hyatt’s luxury portfolio will continue to grow in 2026 with openings across its key brands:

  • Park Hyatt: The reopening of Park Hyatt Tokyo, along with new openings at Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, Park Hyatt Cancun, Park Hyatt Mexico City, Park Hyatt Vancouver, and Park Hyatt Phu Quoc.

  • Alila: Expansion in Mexico with the opening of Alila Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, offering immersive luxury experiences.

  • The Unbound Collection by Hyatt: Growth in the EAME region with Kennedy 89 in Frankfurt, Germany, and a new coastal property in Nice, France.

These additions contribute to Hyatt’s pipeline of more than 170 hotels and approximately 141,000 rooms worldwide.
