Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan Opens in South Korea
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan, marking the first Hyatt Place hotel in Yeonsan, a key business and transportation district in Busan. With this opening, the Hyatt Place brand now operates six properties across South Korea. The hotel becomes the second Hyatt-branded property in the city, joining Park Hyatt Busan.
Busan is a major port city and international tourism destination, supported by growing demand for meetings and events. Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan is located adjacent to Yeonsan Station and major bus routes, offering direct connectivity to Busan City Hall, Seomyeon, Centum City, and other commercial areas. The surrounding neighbourhood features local restaurants, cultural venues, and everyday lifestyle amenities, allowing guests to experience the city conveniently.
Richard Kim, General Manager of Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan, said the hotel aims to provide a welcoming, practical stay for travellers visiting Busan for business or leisure.
Guestrooms
The hotel features 160 guestrooms with city views and contemporary interiors. Rooms are equipped with spacious workstations, smart TVs, and high-speed Wi-Fi, along with sofa seating and lounge areas designed for comfort and productivity.

The hotel’s all-day dining venue, The Placery, provides a flexible space for breakfast, daytime dining, and evening gatherings. The menu includes made-to-order pasta, Vietnamese pho, cheese and charcuterie, and a selection of Korean, Chinese, and Western dishes.

Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan partnered with Korean design studio RMSJ to incorporate the themes “The Gateway to the City” and “Everyday Urbanism in Busan” across the lobby and public areas.
