OYO Parent Company’s Premium Expansion

Oravel Unveils Upscale Hotels in UK & Middle East

Oravel Stays Limited, which operates OYO, has announced its expansion into the premium hotel segment in the UK and Dubai with the launch of its premium brand, SUNDAY. This initiative is part of OYO’s ongoing efforts to enhance its premium property portfolio worldwide.

SUNDAY Lansbury Heritage is a boutique luxury hotel renowned for its history, architecture, and a prime location near London’s iconic business district, Canary Wharf. The property is just a short walk from Canary Wharf and offers convenient transport links to London’s main attractions. The newly opened Elizabeth Line, located only five minutes away on foot, provides high-frequency services and shorter travel times to popular destinations throughout the capital.

The hotel is a restored Grade II listed building, with a history that dates back to 1628 when the East India Company constructed its first chapel and almshouses on the site. It features 35 spacious rooms with double-height ceilings and views of the Canary Wharf skyline or the heritage gardens. Room options range from the impressive Octagonal Tower Chamber, offering 360-degree views of the London skyline, to mezzanine bedrooms that include split-level bathrooms and living areas. All rooms are equipped with king or queen-size beds, Egyptian linens, in-room control systems, and more. The property also includes a gym, spa, and restaurant. Guests can book Lansbury Heritage through the Belvilla by OYO platform and on all major travel booking websites.

In Dubai, SUNDAY has launched with the opening of the SUNDAY Holiday International Hotel. Situated in Bur Dubai, next to Burjuman Mall and Metro Station on the western side of Dubai Creek, the hotel spans over 44000 square feet and offers more than 200 rooms in various categories. It also has multiple food and beverage outlets to cater to guests’ diverse needs.

This expansion is part of Oravel’s ongoing program to broaden its premium hotel footprint globally. The company has identified several popular tourist areas in Dubai, including Deira, Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residences, Business Bay, and Al Barsha, for the development of the SUNDAY brand of hotels.
