“We are excited to bring Pullman back to Zhoushan, allowing us to deliver the distinctive brand experience that guests have come to know and appreciate, while supporting this growing cosmopolitan city with a bold, innovative, and modern approach to hospitality,” said Gary Rosen, CEO Accor Greater China.

“Accor is renowned for its unrivaled portfolio of global hospitality brands and Pullman is a popular choice for partners in Greater China, given its ease of transition, premium brand standards, and global recognition. The presence of Pullman in Zhoushan enhances the city's appeal as an important tourism destination and supports its economic growth through premium hospitality and services for both locals and visitors to enjoy.”

Zhoushan is a coastal city surrounded by islands in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province, near Hangzhou Bay. The Zhoushan Islands are within the East China Sea, boasting the fourth-largest fishing ground in the world. Pullman Zhoushan Seaside is a three-hour drive from Shanghai and just eight minutes from Putuoshan International Airport. Nearby attractions include Zhujiajian Island and Dongji Island, along with the picturesque Mount Putuo, renowned as the "Buddhist Kingdom on Sea."

With its superior geographical advantages and rapidly developing economy, Zhoushan is an ideal destination for the forward-thinking Pullman brand. By prioritizing ecological protection and promoting sustainable tourism and marine initiatives, Zhoushan enhances its natural beauty while fostering economic growth. This approach aligns with the Pullman brand, which is world-renowned for its distinctive pioneering experiences that blend innovative work and event spaces with vibrant social experiences for business, leisure and local guests. Pullman hotels are designed to meet eco-certified standards, with innovative technology throughout the guest experience to offer more purposeful, productive and sustainable stays.

“Zhoushan has a rich marine culture and historical heritage, making it a unique and dynamic destination that is rapidly growing in size and stature,” said Jiang Li, owner and General Manager of Pullman Zhoushan Seaside.

“With the Pullman brand, we are confident our hotel will thrive as a welcoming gateway to Zhoushan, showcasing the city’s arts, culture, and food while inviting guests to experience the coastal scenery and surrounding natural beauty. Whether for a weekend getaway or a long stay, Pullman Zhoushan Seaside is an ideal choice.”

Pullman Zhoushan Seaside features 253 rooms, all with views of the East China Sea. These include 20 family rooms and six parent-child rooms, focusing on fluid, connected spaces for balancing social time, private time, and personal well-being.

Guests of Pullman Zhoushan Seaside will discover a delightful culinary journey with an all-day restaurant, a signature Chinese restaurant, a lobby bar, and an executive lounge. The hotel also provides ample space for romantic weddings, meetings, and team-building activities, with an 880-square-meter column-free grand ballroom, several meeting rooms with stunning sea views, and an outdoor venue ideal for al fresco weddings, evening cocktail parties, and small gatherings. Recreational facilities include Zhoushan's first rooftop pool, a fitness centre, a spa, and a games room.

Pullman Hotels & Resorts boasts a more extensive presence in Greater China than anywhere else, with over 50 hotels and an equal number of new sites in development. The brand plays a pivotal role in Accor’s growth strategy for the region, with expectations to double its portfolio in the next few years. Notable openings for 2024 include Pullman Taizhou Xianju and Pullman Renhuai Chuangmeng, while the much-anticipated Pullman Chongqing North Station is slated to debut in 2025.
