Almare Beach Resort Expands Hilton’s Curio Collection Presence

Hilton has announced the signing of Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton, expanding the company’s lifestyle portfolio in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Scheduled to open in 2028, the resort will be located in Las Terrenas on the Samaná Peninsula in the Dominican Republic. The project is owned by DACC Investment Blu SRL and will join Hilton’s Curio Collection portfolio.

The property will feature 252 accommodations, including 90 hotel rooms and 162 residential units. Selected ground-floor units will include private plunge pools, and owners will have the option to place their units in the hotel inventory.

Facilities at the resort will include a beach club with private cabanas, four outdoor swimming pools, two padel courts, landscaped gardens, a spa, fitness centre, and multiple dining venues, including a beach club restaurant, an all-day dining outlet, and a poolside bar.

Vincenzo Odoguardi, President of DACC Investment Blu SRL, said the project aims to combine the natural setting of the Dominican Republic with Hilton’s international hospitality platform.

Las Terrenas is known for its beaches, coastal scenery, and access to attractions such as whale-watching excursions and Los Haitises National Park.

The company currently operates more than 300 hotels across the Caribbean and Latin America, with additional projects under development across the region.
