APPOINTMENT

Qatar Airways Group has announced the appointment of Mr. Hamad Ali Al-Khater as its new Group Chief Executive Officer.
He succeeds Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer and will lead the airline group through its next phase of growth and global expansion.
Hamad Ali joins Qatar Airways Group from Hamad International Airport, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he was responsible for strengthening operational reliability, overseeing infrastructure expansion, enhancing passenger experience, and driving strategic initiatives aimed at operational excellence.

Before his role at the airport, Hamad Ali held senior leadership positions at QatarEnergy, where he played a key role in business development, deal execution, and the delivery of large-scale strategic and operational projects.
Commenting on the appointment, Qatar Airways Group Board of Directors Chairman, His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, said:
