Goa Named Partner Destination for PATWA World Tourism Leaders Summit & International Travel Awards 2026 at ITB Berlin

Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) has announced Goa as the Partner Destination for the 26th edition of the PATWA World Tourism Leaders Summit and the PATWA International Travel Awards 2026. The event will be held on March 4, 2026, on the sidelines of ITB Berlin.

Goa is one of India’s most internationally recognized tourism destinations, known for its beaches, heritage, culture, cuisine, festivals, and growing luxury and wellness offerings. In recent years, the destination has diversified its tourism portfolio to include regenerative tourism, hinterland experiences, spiritual circuits, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and MICE infrastructure, supporting its positioning as a year-round destination.

Commenting on the partnership, Rohan Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, IT, E&C, Printing & Stationery, Government of Goa, said: “Goa’s new global partnership reflects our proactive outreach and growing international relevance, strengthening meaningful collaborations that align with our vision for high-quality, responsible tourism.”

As Partner Destination, Goa will present its evolving tourism offerings to a global audience at the Summit, including tourism ministers, policymakers, industry leaders, hospitality groups, aviation stakeholders, and international media.
