APPOINTMENT
Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island has announced the appointment of Gaurav Thakur as the new General Manager.
With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry within the Hilton brand, Gaurav has held key leadership roles across Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts in the UK, India, and Maldives.
His career highlights include key roles in the pre-opening and opening of renowned properties such as Conrad Pune, Conrad Bengaluru and Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, followed by his role as General Manager at Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa.

In his new role, Gaurav will oversee all aspects of resort operations including commercial strategy, wellness, dining and leisure experiences, ensuring elevated guest experiences.
