Fusion Hotel Group and Hotel Management Japan Announce Strategic Partnership

Fusion Hotel Group Partnership Targets Hospitality Growth Across Asia

Fusion Hotel Group (FHG) and Hotel Management Japan (HMJ) have entered into a strategic partnership to expand collaboration in key areas of the hospitality business and strengthen their presence in Asia.

The agreement brings together Fusion Hotel Group’s portfolio in Vietnam and Southeast Asia with Hotel Management Japan’s operational experience in Japan. Through the partnership, both companies aim to enhance market reach, improve guest experiences and support long-term regional growth.

The collaboration will focus on three primary areas: sales and marketing, brand and design, and human resources. By sharing expertise and resources, the two groups plan to develop initiatives that support operational efficiency and strengthen brand positioning across their respective portfolios.

Key projects will include the exchange of customer insights, alignment of selected sales and marketing activities, the introduction of Fusion’s wellness-focused hospitality concepts into selected HMJ properties, and the creation of employee training programmes across Vietnam, Thailand and Japan.

Junichi Araki, Chief Operating Officer of Hotel Management Japan, said the partnership creates opportunities for both organisations to build on their respective strengths while exploring new opportunities across the region.

He noted that combining HMJ’s operational capabilities with Fusion’s growing presence in Southeast Asia would help both companies expand their reach and strengthen collaboration across multiple markets.

Christopher Hur, Chief Executive Officer of Fusion Hotel Group, described Japan as an important market within the company’s regional strategy and said the partnership would support Fusion’s plans for further growth across Asia.

He added that bringing together the capabilities of both organizations would create a broader platform for development while supporting the delivery of hospitality experiences across different markets.
