Emirates Launches Fourth Daily London Gatwick Service with Airbus A350

Emirates has launched its fourth daily flight to London Gatwick Airport, making Gatwick the airline’s first London gateway to be served by the Airbus A350. The new service also introduces Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin on the Dubai–Gatwick route. The additional frequency complements the airline’s existing three daily A380 services between Dubai and Gatwick.

With this launch, Emirates now operates 146 weekly flights to the UK, including 90 weekly services to London. The expanded schedule is intended to provide customers with additional departure options and improved connectivity between the UK and Dubai.

The new service operates as flight EK069, departing Dubai at 17:05 and arriving in London Gatwick at 20:50. The return service, EK070, departs Gatwick at 23:55 and arrives in Dubai at 11:00 the following day. The evening departure adds an alternative timing option for both business and leisure travellers.

The A350 is equipped with Emirates’ latest version of the ice inflight entertainment system, featuring high-definition displays and touchscreen technology. The aircraft also offers onboard Wi-Fi connectivity via ViaSat’s Global Xpress satellite network, supported by upgraded onboard wireless access points.

The introduction of the A350 at Gatwick follows its earlier deployment in the UK on the Edinburgh route, which began operations with the aircraft type in January 2025. Gatwick becomes the second UK airport to be served by the A350.

London is among a growing list of destinations served by Emirates’ A350 fleet, alongside cities such as Adelaide, Montreal, Oslo, Lyon, Bologna, Dammam, Mumbai, Edinburgh, Bahrain, Colombo, Baghdad, Hangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuwait, Muscat, Tunis, Amman, Istanbul and Ahmedabad. Additional destinations scheduled to receive the A350 in 2026 include Rome, Copenhagen, Taipei, Phuket, Cape Town and Helsinki, with Helsinki planned to operate the aircraft from launch in October 2026.

Tickets for the new Gatwick service are available via emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates retail stores, the airline’s contact centre, and authorised travel agents.
