Emirates features Suryakumar Yadav in new campaign ahead of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup

Emirates has unveiled a new advertising campaign featuring Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, set to debut ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

For nearly three decades, Emirates has maintained a long-standing association with international cricket, supporting major ICC tournaments across multiple cricket-playing nations. The airline’s involvement has included sponsorship visibility at matches, on-field officials’ kits, and engagement across key moments of the sport that connect fans worldwide.

Suryakumar Yadav is known for his unconventional batting style and consistency in the T20 format. He has played a significant role in India’s recent successes, including the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and the 2025 Asia Cup, and currently leads the India T20I team.

The latest campaign highlights Emirates’ association with cricket, featuring Yadav showcasing his batting style during a match at a packed stadium. The global campaign coincides with the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and will be rolled out across cricket-focused markets and international audiences.

Passengers travelling on Emirates flights during the tournament will be able to watch live match coverage on the airline’s ice entertainment system via Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra.

Commenting on the campaign, Suryakumar Yadav said that high-level cricket requires preparation, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure, values he associates with Emirates. He added that frequent travel is part of a professional cricketer’s life, and consistency and comfort are important during international schedules.
