Emirates Expands Flights to Ghana

Emirates Increases Ghana Connectivity with Additional Weekly Services

Emirates has announced the expansion of its operations in Ghana by introducing four additional weekly flights between Dubai and Accra, effective 12 July 2026.

The new services will complement the airline’s existing daily operations and meet growing travel demand between Ghana and destinations across Emirates’ international network. With the addition of the new flights, Emirates will operate 11 weekly services between Dubai and Accra.

Additional Flights from July 2026

Emirates Restores 96% of Global Network via Dubai

The new flights, operating as EK789 and EK790, will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER and will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The schedule has been designed to offer convenient connections through Dubai to destinations across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Improved Connectivity for Travellers

The additional flights will provide travellers from Accra with enhanced access to destinations including Beijing, Seoul, Sydney, Perth, Mumbai, Singapore, New York and Jeddah.

Passengers travelling to Ghana will also benefit from improved connectivity via Dubai from cities such as Delhi, Boston, Los Angeles and several destinations across Germany and the United Kingdom.

Supporting Passenger and Cargo Growth

Emirates SkyCargo Launches Freighter Service to Almaty

The expanded schedule will also strengthen cargo operations between Ghana and international markets.

Through Emirates SkyCargo, the airline transports a range of products from Ghana, including fresh fruit, textiles, electronics and pharmaceuticals. The additional bellyhold cargo capacity is expected to support trade and provide businesses with greater access to global markets.

With the launch of the additional services, Emirates will operate 11 weekly flights to Ghana using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
