Emirates Expands Egypt Network with Fifth Daily Flight to Cairo

Emirates Wins Another Best International Airline Award

Emirates will introduce six additional weekly frequencies on the Dubai–Cairo route, starting December 1, 2025, in response to growing travel demand during the winter season.

From 1 February 2026, these services will operate daily, increasing the total to five daily flights between Dubai and Cairo. Operated by a Boeing 777, the additional service is scheduled to provide improved connectivity with Emirates’ network across Asia, including destinations such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Egypt has been a key market in Emirates’ network since the airline entered the country nearly 40 years ago. Cairo currently operates multiple daily flights, including services with the Airbus A380. With the introduction of the fifth daily flight, Cairo will become the most served city in Emirates’ African network, reflecting the airline’s continued investment in the market.

Adnan Kazim

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Cairo remains an important gateway for both passenger and cargo traffic. The additional frequency will support demand, strengthen connectivity, and enhance trade and tourism between Egypt, the UAE, and other global destinations. We appreciate the collaboration with Egyptian authorities in enabling this expansion and look forward to serving more customers on this route.”

The new service will also increase weekly cargo capacity by approximately 300 tonnes, providing additional space for exports such as Egyptian produce, fruits, and vegetables. Emirates SkyCargo will continue to facilitate trade and support local businesses by connecting them to key international markets.

Emirates

Since launching operations in Egypt in 1986, Emirates has expanded its services and carried more than 10 million passengers between the two countries, supporting tourism, commerce, and cultural exchange.
