Eight Continents Launches Treetop RoyalPine Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh

Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Treetop by Eight Continents – RoyalPine Kasauli, marking the company’s latest expansion in Himachal Pradesh.

The UK-based hospitality and hotel management group said the addition is part of its strategy to strengthen its presence across leisure destinations in India through design-focused, experience-led properties.

Located in the hills of Kasauli, the 44-key property overlooks surrounding valleys and forest landscapes. Designed to blend with the natural terrain, the hotel’s layout allows rooms to face the surrounding scenery while incorporating knotless pine wood sourced from Finland into its architecture.

The property includes 8 Cafe, a restaurant and microbrewery, a sunset deck, and dedicated event spaces for private gatherings.

Guests will also have access to wellness and recreational facilities, including a spa, steam and sauna rooms, an infinity pool, and a 10-seater jacuzzi.

Richa Adhia, Managing Director of Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts, said the Kasauli property aligns with the company’s focus on developing destination-led hospitality experiences across key leisure markets in India.

She added that the project has been designed to combine comfort, contemporary aesthetics, and a connection with the surrounding environment while catering to changing traveller preferences.

The company said its expansion strategy remains focused on properties that combine design identity, local relevance, and operational management as demand for boutique and experience-driven travel continues to grow.
