Delta Opens New Sky Club at Denver International Airport
Delta Air Lines has opened a new Delta Sky Club at Denver International Airport (DEN), expanding its lounge network in the Mountain West and offering travellers a redesigned space inspired by Colorado’s landscapes and culture.
Located on the fourth floor of Concourse A, the 13,000-square-foot lounge offers seating for 230 guests and a layout designed for both relaxation and work. The space includes a bar influenced by the design of Denver’s Union Station and traditional taverns, along with a media room featuring large televisions and lounge-style seating. Guests can access two double-sided buffet stations and a beverage area serving coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Delta plans to expand the lounge later this year with an additional 6,000 square feet, increasing the total size to more than 19,000 square feet and bringing seating capacity to around 400. The expansion will include another beverage station and a business lounge with printers and five soundproof phone booths designed for work and private calls.
A design inspired by Colorado
The interior design draws from Colorado’s natural environment and regional textures. Wildflower-inspired patterns, deep jewel tones and earthy colours reflect the region’s landscape, while materials such as live-edge wood and stone reference the area’s mountainous terrain.
Architectural details also reference Denver’s Union Station, incorporating warm lighting and classic design elements that connect the lounge to the city’s historic downtown landmark.

Artwork throughout the lounge features contributions from local artists and imagery inspired by the region, including horseback riders and open landscapes.
Regional flavours on the menu

The lounge’s culinary program combines seasonal offerings with regional dishes. One of the signature items is Chile Colorado, prepared onsite and served regularly in the lounge.
Menus will also feature ingredients associated with the region, including Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches and Rocky Ford melon during their peak seasons. The bar introduces new cocktails, including an Elderflower Gin and Tonic and a Yuzu Margarita, which Delta plans to roll out to additional Sky Clubs.

The lounge is also moving away from single-use dining materials as part of Delta’s efforts to adjust its service operations.
Delta’s long presence in Denver

Delta has served the Denver market for nearly five decades. The airline previously operated at Stapleton International Airport before moving to Denver International Airport when it opened in 1995.
In 2026, Delta plans to operate its largest schedule from Denver to date, with nearly 40 peak-day flights to more than ten destinations, including Austin and all of Delta’s U.S. hub cities.

The new lounge is part of the airline’s continued investment in its airport experience for both travellers and employees in Denver.
Looking ahead for Delta Sky Clubs

Delta has also expanded several other lounges this year, including locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.
Additional Delta Sky Clubs are planned at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in 2027, Tampa International Airport (TPA) in 2028 and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) in 2029. Another lounge is expected to open at Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW) in 2028 as part of the airline’s broader lounge development plans.
