Delta Adds New Nonstop Routes and Expanded Service from Austin

Delta is adding three new nonstop routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), connecting travellers to Denver (DEN), Columbus (CMH), and Kansas City (MCI). The airline is also increasing service on two existing routes, San Francisco (SFO) and Indianapolis (IND).

“AUS values Delta’s investment in connecting Central Texas travellers to more nonstop destinations,” said Ghizlane Badawi, AUS CEO.

“We look forward to continued partnership as we expand and improve the airport.”

With these additions, Delta now offers nearly 30 destinations from AUS.

New nonstop service from Austin:

  • Denver (DEN) – Beginning Nov. 9, 2025, with twice-daily service operated by Delta Connection partner SkyWest.
  • Columbus (CMH) – Beginning June 7, 2026, with once-daily service operated by Delta Connection partner SkyWest.
  • Kansas City (MCI) – Beginning June 7, 2026, with twice-daily service operated by Delta Connection partner SkyWest.

Each flight will use an Embraer 175 aircraft.

Expanded service:

  • San Francisco (SFO) – Starting April 13, 2026, increasing from one to two daily flights, operated on an Airbus A319.
  • Indianapolis (IND) – Starting June 7, 2026, increasing from one to three daily flights.

The airline has carried more than one million passengers to and from Austin this year, a 12% increase year over year. Additional upcoming service includes Palm Springs (PSP) in November, and Cancun (CUN) and Cabo San Lucas (SJD) in December.

This October, the airline will open a permanent flight attendant base in Austin, adding jobs and strengthening its operational presence in Central Texas.
