Centara Hotels & Resorts to Open Its First Property in Nepal in 2026

Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of its first property in Nepal, Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, scheduled to welcome guests from January 2026. Located in Kaskikot, approximately 35 minutes from Pokhara, the resort offers views of the Fishtail Mountain range and access to the region’s cultural and natural landscapes.

Part of The Centara Collection, the resort is positioned as a destination that blends contemporary comforts with local Nepali influences. The property will feature 42 rooms, suites, and villas, each with wooden interiors, private gardens or balconies, and layouts suited to couples, families, and groups.

Guests will have access to a range of wellness, leisure and outdoor experiences. These include yoga sessions, spa treatments at Cense by SPA Cenvaree, guided village walks along the Sarangkot Loop Trail, trekking experiences in the Annapurna region, paragliding and ultralight flights. Resort facilities at launch will include an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, outdoor swimming pool, library, rooftop terrace, Pan-Asian restaurant, tea house, and meeting spaces.

Commenting on the opening, Prapaijit Thongma, General Manager of the resort, said, “We are pleased to introduce Centara’s Thai-inspired hospitality to Nepal. The location, mountain surroundings and cultural setting of the Annapurna region allow us to offer travellers a retreat focused on wellbeing, discovery and connection.”

To mark the opening, Centara Hotels & Resorts has introduced the Spirit of the Himalayas launch offer. Available until 31 March 2026 for stays between 1 January and 30 April 2026, the offer includes a Stay 3 Pay 2 promotion, complimentary airport transfers, and benefits for CentaraThe1 members, including additional savings and bonus points.
