Cameo Beverly Hills Joins LXR Hotels & Resorts Following Full Property Transformation
Cameo Beverly Hills, LXR Hotels & Resorts has reopened following a complete transformation, marking a new phase for the property as part of LXR Hotels & Resorts. Located on a quieter edge of Beverly Hills, the hotel offers a retreat setting while remaining close to Rodeo Drive and central Los Angeles.
Commenting on the reopening, Sonesh Mool, General Manager of Cameo Beverly Hills, said the transformation reflects both the property’s history and today’s travellers’ expectations, with a focus on contemporary comfort and a strong connection to its surroundings.
Guest rooms and suites have been redesigned to serve as private retreats, each with a balcony offering views across Beverly Hills and the city. Interiors incorporate burl wood and smoked white oak furnishings, sculptural lighting, handwoven textiles, and artwork by local artists. Suites offer expanded layouts and soaking tubs, supporting longer and more relaxed stays.
The hotel’s updated food and beverage programme includes Zampo, its signature restaurant, and Silhouette, a lobby lounge and bar.
Zampo focuses on Peruvian cuisine with Nikkei influences, combining traditional flavours with Japanese techniques. The space features natural stone finishes, warm wood tones, handcrafted ceramics, and a custom mural created by California-based artists Zoe Derring and Thomas Harrison. Menu offerings include classic and seasonal dishes such as cebiche, grilled meats, seafood, and vegetable-based plates.
Silhouette serves as an all-day gathering space, offering small plates designed for sharing alongside a cocktail menu that draws on global inspirations, including house-made ingredients and pisco-based drinks.
The redesigned pool deck includes private cabanas, updated seating, and a poolside bar, creating a flexible space for both relaxation and social use throughout the day.
The Starlight Ballroom, located on the 12th floor, has been enhanced as part of the renovation and continues to offer panoramic views of Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles skyline. With natural light and access to a wraparound deck, the venue is positioned for meetings, weddings, and social events.
The hotel’s refreshed design, led by Premier, incorporated natural materials, neutral tones, curated artwork, and sculptural furnishings throughout public spaces. The updated lobby and arrival areas are designed to encourage interaction while maintaining a residential atmosphere.
As part of LXR’s Pursuit of Adventure programme, Cameo Beverly Hills will introduce Cameo to Catalina, a curated day-trip experience offering private transport and guided access to Catalina Island. Additional locally inspired experiences are planned to further connect guests with Los Angeles and the surrounding region.
Cameo Beverly Hills is owned by Braemar Hotels & Resorts, externally advised by Ashford Hospitality Trust, and operated by Remington Hospitality.
