Brazil Records 45% Increase in International Visitors in 2025

Brazil sets new record as it welcomes 3.7 million international tourists in  Q1 2025

Brazil’s tourism sector has seen significant growth in 2025, welcoming over 7 million international visitors between January and September. This marks a 45% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Such growth highlights the country’s continued efforts to establish itself as a diverse and sustainable destination, showcasing eco-tourism, cultural experiences, and its stunning natural landscapes.

The increase in tourism is having a direct impact on local economies, supporting small businesses, artisans, and professionals across the hospitality and tourism sectors. In September 2025 alone, Brazil received 570,934 international arrivals, a 28.2% increase over September 2024, highlighting consistent demand throughout the year.
