TAT Receives ISO 22301:2019 Certification Renewal for Business Continuity
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has re-obtained ISO 22301:2019 certification for its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) from the British Standards Institution (BSI). This certification underscores TAT’s dedication to operational resilience and compliance with international business continuity management standards.
The three-year certification, valid from September 9, 2025, to September 8, 2028, reflects TAT’s preparedness to maintain efficient operations while advancing its transformation into a High-Performance Organisation (HPO).
At the certificate presentation, Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, received the certificate on behalf of TAT from Ms. Piyaorn Ratsameerungruangtawee, Sales and Marketing Director of BSI Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

TAT Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, noted, “In an environment of ongoing change and uncertainty, particularly in the recovering global tourism sector, effective crisis management and business continuity are essential for maintaining confidence among travellers and stakeholders. This certification reflects TAT’s readiness to manage risks and ensure consistent service delivery.”
Since 2018, TAT has aligned its BCMS with ISO 22301 standards. The renewed certification follows a successful re-certification audit and covers core operational processes, including tourism marketing, public relations, information services, customer satisfaction management, and tourism product and service development.
Moving forward, TAT will continue to strengthen its business continuity systems as part of its strategy to achieve HPO status through innovation, resilience, and governance under the TAT Corporate Plan 2023–2027 (Revised 2025–2027).
