Located in Kyoto City’s historic Higashiyama Ward, this new establishment will feature 52 rooms, a signature Banyan Tree Spa, and two distinctive dining venues.

It is situated close to significant sites such as the Kiyomizu-dera and Kodai-ji Temples. The property features the exclusive Higashiyama Onsen, a cherished natural hot spring, highlighting Banyan Tree Group’s commitment to cultural preservation and sustainable practices.

Exclusive Noh Theatre Experience

The hotel in Kyoto features a unique Noh theatre stage designed by the acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma. Located in the spiritual Ryozen area of Higashiyama, this stage is an architectural marvel that harmonizes the physical and spiritual realms. It showcases performances ranging from traditional Nohgaku—recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage—to modern artistic expressions.
