AYANA Midplaza Jakarta Appoints Morris Tiedemann as General Manager

AYANA Midplaza Jakarta has announced the appointment of Morris Tiedemann as General Manager.
Bringing nearly three decades of international hospitality experience across Europe, the Middle East, and China, Tiedemann steps into the role with a focus on strengthening the hotel’s positioning as a leading urban destination in Jakarta. The property is recognised for offering a balanced environment that integrates business, wellness, culture, and dining within the city.
Tiedemann has held senior leadership roles across global hospitality brands, including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. His experience includes leading hotel openings, repositioning strategies, and operational transformations across diverse markets, with a consistent focus on performance, guest satisfaction, and team development.
In his new role, he will oversee overall operations at AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, with an emphasis on enhancing guest experience, strengthening the hotel’s identity as an urban resort, and driving sustainable growth. His leadership approach focuses on aligning operational performance with people development and service excellence.
