Autograph Collection Debuts in India with Noormahal Karnal

India Debut of Autograph Collection at Noormahal Karnal

Autograph Collection Hotels has entered the Indian market with the opening of Noormahal Karnal Autograph Collection, located along the Grand Trunk Road in Karnal, Haryana. The 176-room property marks the brand’s introduction in the country and adds to Marriott International’s growing presence in India.

The hotel draws on a design approach shaped by regional influences, reflecting a mix of Mughal, Rajput, Punjabi and Persian elements. Architectural features include domes, jali work and arches, while interiors incorporate layered textures and handcrafted details that connect heritage references with contemporary design.

Located on the NH44 corridor between Delhi and Kurukshetra, the property offers access to cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh and Ludhiana. It also serves as a stopover for travellers heading to destinations such as Amritsar, Shimla, and Dehradun.

Accommodation includes guest rooms, suites, and penthouses, designed with a balance of traditional aesthetics and modern functionality. Signature options such as Raja Niwas and Khwabgah offer larger living spaces, private terraces and dedicated services.

The hotel features four dining venues. These include The Frontier Mail, focused on Northwestern frontier cuisine; Colonel Saab for all-day dining; The Polo Bar for beverages; and The Cake Factory for desserts.

Wellness and recreation facilities include a spa, gym, outdoor pool and activity areas such as tennis, pickleball, ziplining and rock climbing. Event infrastructure spans indoor venues and outdoor lawns, supporting weddings, conferences and social gatherings.

The project has been developed with a focus on combining cultural references with contemporary hospitality, positioning Noormahal Karnal as part of a broader strategy to expand distinctive hotel offerings within India.
