Atmosphere Core appoints Vanita Gomez as General Manager of Stillwood Retreat, a Signature Atmosphere Coorg

Atmosphere Core has announced the appointment of Vanita Gomez as General Manager of Stillwood Retreat – a Signature Atmosphere Coorg, as the company prepares to expand its footprint in India with its second property.

Vanita Gomez brings over 18 years of cross-functional experience across premium hospitality brands and destination hotels in India. Her expertise spans operations, sales leadership, revenue management, MICE, and weddings. She is recognised for driving revenue growth, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams across diverse hospitality environments.

In her new role, she will oversee overall operations and pre-opening strategies for the retreat, with a focus on positioning the property within India’s luxury and experiential travel segment.

Located in Coorg, the retreat is part of the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts portfolio and is positioned as a boutique luxury offering. The property will feature 56 villas with private decks and outdoor hot tubs, along with curated dining experiences, a wine lounge, themed bar, and wellness therapies at ELE|NA Ayur Spa. It will also include event spaces designed for destination weddings and corporate retreats.

This appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capabilities as it expands its presence in the Indian hospitality market.
