Anil Malhotra appointed as President of HOTREMAI

APPOINTMENT

Anil Malhotra has been appointed as the President of the Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association of India (HOTREMAI).

The association confirmed that he was elected unanimously, marking his third term in this leadership role.

According to the announcement, Malhotra has over four decades of experience in the hospitality sector. His background includes international training in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, as well as a career with the Taj Group. He holds an Economics (Hons.) degree from Hindu College and is a qualified Hotel Kaufmann from Austria.

He has been heading the HSMC Group for more than three decades, working with several global hotel chains. During his earlier terms at HOTREMAI, he contributed to expanding the association’s presence at both national and international levels.

The association noted that his return comes at a time of ongoing industry developments. Malhotra stated that future progress will be shaped collectively, supported by the Executive Committee.
