Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 Introduces “Amazing Bag” Airport Welcome Activity

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is building seasonal momentum by rolling out the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign through the on-ground “Amazing Bag” activity at key international airports. The initiative highlights Thai hospitality under the theme “Privilege Beyond Expectation.”

H.E. Mr. Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, together with Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, representatives from Suvarnabhumi Airport, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Kathathorn Kumthieng, Commander of Immigration Division 2, welcomed inbound travellers at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 6 November and handed out the “Amazing Bag” – a souvenir set featuring locally made items to offer a positive first impression of Thailand. A similar activity took place at Don Mueang Airport on 7 November.

According to Ms. Thapanee, the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign supports the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy to encourage international travel spending and enhance visitor experiences during the high season.

Running from 1 November to 15 December 2025 at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket International Airports, the “Amazing Bag” activity has drawn strong participation, with travellers presenting their passports to receive the bag and access additional privileges via the campaign’s online platform. More than 2,500 international visitors have joined so far, with the top participating nationalities being China, India, Russia, France, and the United Kingdom.

Each bag includes souvenirs representing the “5 Must Do in Thailand” experiences:

  • Must Taste: dried Thai mango

  • Must Try: Muay Thai keychains

  • Must Buy: Thai textile crafts such as shoulder bags, scarves, and fabric hats

  • Must Seek: regional lifestyle crafts, including handwoven keychains

  • Must See: cultural tokens such as Khon and Phi Ta Khon keychains

Travellers can also scan a QR code to register for additional tourism vouchers, including opportunities to receive Lucky Bags containing special prizes supported by TAT’s tourism partners.

In its second year, the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges campaign features two core activities: nationwide travel promotions in collaboration with over 300 tourism businesses, and the “Amazing Bag” gift initiative at major airports.
