Interline partnership improves access across Canada and the U.S.

Air India has entered into an interline partnership with WestJet to improve connectivity between India and North America beyond Toronto and Vancouver.

The agreement allows passengers to travel on a single ticket across both airlines, with coordinated baggage handling and simplified transfers. Travellers flying with Air India to Canada will be able to connect onward to a wider network of WestJet destinations.

Through this arrangement, passengers arriving in Toronto or Vancouver can access 17 cities across Canada, including Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax, as well as 14 cities in the United States, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Additional connectivity is also available via Air India’s European gateways, including Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Heathrow Airport, and Gatwick Airport, enabling onward connections to WestJet services to Canada.

Air India Enters into Interline Partnership With Taiwan's STARLUX Airlines

Air India currently operates 17 weekly non-stop flights to Canada, including services to Toronto and Vancouver, alongside a broader European network that supports onward travel options.

The partnership reflects ongoing demand for travel between India and North America, supported by business links and diaspora traffic. Interline itineraries are now available through Air India’s direct channels as well as travel agents.
