Air India Introduces Cloud Chasers Experience for Young Travellers

Air India Cloud Chasers Initiative Helps Children Explore Air Travel

Air India has launched its Cloud Chasers initiative in partnership with KidZania, offering children and parents an interactive aviation-themed experience at the Air India Aviation Academy.

The initiative was designed to familiarise young travellers with the airport and flying experience through a guided simulation covering check-in, boarding and onboard activities. The event brought together children and their mothers for a hands-on introduction to air travel in a child-friendly setting.

As part of the experience, children received personalised boarding passes and participated in a boarding process modelled on an actual flight journey. The venue was styled in Air India’s colours and included activity areas designed to engage younger travellers.

Each child also received an activity kit featuring games, books, and creative materials to keep them occupied during flights. The initiative focused on helping families feel more comfortable with air travel while creating an engaging environment for children.

Parents attending the event said the experience helped children better understand the airport process and interact with airline crew in a relaxed setting. Activities included meeting cabin crew members, trying on pilot caps and receiving first-flyer certificates.

Khushhboo Aggarwal, social influencer and wellness expert, said the event made flying feel more approachable and enjoyable for children, adding that her daughter remained excited about aviation after the experience.

Garima Arora, parenting coach and social influencer, said her children particularly enjoyed interacting with cockpit and cabin crew members and receiving customised boarding passes.

Dr Gunjan Jain, child physiotherapist and social influencer, said the initiative helped children view travel as an engaging experience while encouraging curiosity about aviation careers.

Through the Cloud Chasers initiative, Air India aims to create a more family-focused travel experience by introducing children to aviation in an accessible and interactive format.
