Air India Expands Winter Schedule with 174 Additional Weekly Flights
Air India has announced the addition of 174 weekly flights on important domestic and short-haul international routes, operated by its single-aisle aircraft. This expansion is part of the Northern Winter Schedule, which will begin on October 26, 2025. The aim is to enhance connectivity to major cities across India and Southeast Asia.
Short-Haul International Routes

Delhi–Kuala Lumpur: Increasing from 7x to 10x weekly flights, effective 15 November
Delhi–Denpasar (Bali): Increasing from 7x to 10x weekly flights, effective 1 December
Domestic Routes in India
Rajasthan (effective 26 October)
Delhi–Jaipur (new): 3x daily flights
Delhi–Jaisalmer (new): 2x daily flights
Delhi–Udaipur: 2x → 3x daily
Mumbai–Jaipur: 3x → 4x daily
Mumbai–Udaipur: 3x → 4x daily
Mumbai–Jodhpur: 1x → 2x daily
Madhya Pradesh (effective 26 October)
Delhi–Indore: 3x → 4x daily
Delhi–Bhopal: 2x → 3x daily
Mumbai–Indore: 1x → 2x daily
Gujarat (effective 26 October)
Mumbai–Bhuj: 1x → 2x daily
Delhi–Rajkot: 1x → 2x daily
Other frequency additions (effective 26 October)
Delhi–Varanasi: 2x → 3x daily
Delhi–Raipur: 2x → 3x daily
Delhi–Port Blair: 1x → 2x daily
Delhi–Aurangabad: 1x → 2x daily

Air India’s retrofit program for its Airbus A320neo aircraft, which began in September 2024, is nearing completion. Out of 27 legacy A320neo aircraft, 26 have been upgraded with new cabin interiors that include Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. Along with its newer aircraft, the airline now operates over 100 A320 Family planes across more than 80 domestic and regional routes.
