The Hari Singapore Appoints Andreas Kraemer as General Manager Ahead of 2027 Opening

Harilela Hotels has announced the appointment of Andreas Kraemer as General Manager of The Hari Singapore, ahead of the hotel’s planned opening in spring 2027.

Andreas Kraemer brings more than 30 years of international hospitality experience across Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as General Manager of InterContinental Singapore, where he oversaw a phase of repositioning, along with commercial and brand development initiatives. His career includes senior leadership roles across markets such as Singapore, China, Thailand, India, and the Maldives.

In his new role, Kraemer will lead the pre-opening and launch of The Hari Singapore, including operational planning, team development, and positioning the hotel within the city’s hospitality landscape.

Speaking on his appointment, Andreas said, “Singapore doesn’t need another hotel. It deserves hotels with character. What drew me to The Hari was the opportunity to create a place connected to Orchard Road and the heritage of Emerald Hill, a hotel that becomes part of the city, not simply part of its skyline. Together with our team, we’ll create a destination guests return to for its people, atmosphere and genuine sense of belonging.”

The Hari Singapore is expected to focus on art, design, culture, and dining as part of its guest offering, aligning with the brand’s approach to lifestyle hospitality while integrating with the character of its location.

The Hari Singapore will be located near Orchard Road and the Emerald Hill precinct and will feature 326 rooms. The property will be the third under The Hari brand, joining existing hotels in London and Hong Kong. The hotel is positioned as a design-led lifestyle destination with a focus on its surrounding neighbourhood.
