Kiwanis International Convention 2026 Successfully Welcomes 1,200 Global Leaders

The Kiwanis International Convention 2026 made its Philippine debut from 24 to 27 June 2026 at the Marriott Hotel Manila, marking the convention’s return to the Asia-Pacific region after more than a decade. Supported by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, the Kiwanis International Convention 2026 brought together more than 1,200 Kiwanian leaders from 31 countries to strengthen global collaboration and community service initiatives.

As one of the world’s leading volunteer organisations, Kiwanis International continues to promote leadership, community development and programmes that improve the lives of children worldwide.

Kiwanis International Convention 2026 Strengthens Philippines’ MICE Industry

The successful hosting of the Kiwanis International Convention 2026 reinforces the Philippines’ growing position as a premier destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE). The event also supported the country’s “MICE Philippines: We Take Your Business to Heart” campaign, which highlights the nation’s ability to host world-class international business events.

Throughout the convention, delegates participated in networking receptions, membership development sessions, regional recognition programmes and Asia-Pacific cultural showcases that promoted collaboration among Kiwanis districts.

Leadership, Service and Global Collaboration

Major highlights of the Kiwanis International Convention 2026 included The Colors of ASPAC Recognition Night, which celebrated the achievements and diversity of Kiwanis clubs across the Asia-Pacific region, and the Kiwanis International Gala, featuring cultural performances and recognition ceremonies.

Delegates also explored initiatives such as the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, The Kiwanis Possibility Project and Service Leadership Programs (SLPs), all designed to expand volunteer opportunities and develop leadership skills among young people.

Leadership expert and mountaineer Lei Wang, the first Asian woman to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam, delivered an inspiring keynote on resilience, leadership and overcoming challenges.

According to Tourism Promotions Board Philippines Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, the Kiwanis International Convention 2026 demonstrated how international events can strengthen communities while creating meaningful travel experiences.
