Omaxe Plans 19 Hotels Across Five States
Omaxe Expands Hospitality Business with 19-Hotel Plan
Omaxe has announced the launch of a dedicated hospitality business vertical, with plans to develop 19 hotels across 13 cities in five states over the next four to five years.
The company proposes to invest approximately ₹6,200 crore, subject to regulatory approvals, project-specific clearances and market conditions. The hospitality portfolio will cover nearly 5 million sq. ft. and will be integrated with Omaxe’s townships, mixed-use developments, commercial projects and urban infrastructure developments.
As part of the expansion, 12 hotels are planned in Uttar Pradesh, including two in Ayodhya, three in Lucknow, one each in Prayagraj, Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur, two in Kaushambi and two in Vrindavan. The company also plans one hotel each in New Delhi, Faridabad and Ujjain, along with four properties across Chandigarh, Amritsar and Ludhiana, including two hotels in Chandigarh.
Among the planned developments is a 158-key Gateway Hotel by IHCL at The Omaxe State in Dwarka, New Delhi. The project is being developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Omaxe also plans to develop hospitality projects linked to its PPP developments with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), strengthening accommodation options along key transit corridors.

Commenting on the announcement, Mohit Goel, Managing Director of Omaxe Ltd., said hospitality is a natural extension of the company’s integrated development strategy. He noted that improved connectivity, growing pilgrimage travel and increasing demand across emerging destinations have created opportunities for quality hospitality infrastructure.
The planned portfolio will cater to a wide range of travel segments, including business travel, leisure tourism, destination weddings, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) and religious tourism. It will include midscale and upscale hotels, premium hospitality projects, pilgrimage hotels and serviced apartments, with each property designed to meet the requirements of its local market.
The investment will be implemented in phases over the next four to five years. Omaxe is also in advanced discussions with domestic and international hotel operators for branding and management partnerships, with formal announcements expected after the completion of definitive agreements.
