Aleppo Route Expands Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s Syria Network

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Aleppo, further expanding its network in Syria and strengthening air connectivity between the UAE and the country.

The new service will commence on 7 July 2026, with three weekly flights operating between Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and Aleppo International Airport. The route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, offering passengers additional travel options for business, leisure and visiting friends and relatives.

The airline also confirmed that its existing Abu Dhabi–Damascus service will increase from four weekly flights to daily operations from 1 July 2026, reflecting growing travel demand between the two countries.

Commenting on the expansion, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said that the launch of flights to Aleppo and the increased frequency of flights to Damascus demonstrate the airline’s commitment to improving connectivity and providing more travel options for customers.

He added that the expanded services will support business, tourism and cultural links between the UAE and Syria while offering passengers greater convenience.

Earlier this month, Air Arabia resumed direct flights between Sharjah and Aleppo. With services now operating to both Aleppo and Damascus from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, the airline continues to strengthen its presence in the Syrian market.

Air Arabia operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and offers a range of onboard services, including inflight streaming through SkyTime, onboard dining via SkyCafe and the Air Rewards loyalty programme.

Passengers can book flights through the airline’s website, customer service centre or authorised travel agents.
