Pompano Beach Residences Mark Progress in Waldorf Astoria Project

The Related Group and Merrimac Ventures, in partnership with Hilton, have marked a construction milestone at the Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, with the topping-off of the residential tower. The development has now reached its full structural height, marking progress in the project’s delivery.

Located along the coast of Pompano Beach, the 28-storey building spans two acres of oceanfront land. The project includes 92 residential units, with completion expected in 2027. According to the developers, a large proportion of the residences have already been sold ahead of completion.

The development introduces a standalone residential concept under the Waldorf Astoria brand, offering private homes separate from traditional hotel operations while maintaining the brand’s service elements.

Design and Residential Features

The residences have been designed by Nichols Architects in collaboration with KORA, with interiors by BAMO and landscaping by Enea Landscape. Units range from 2 to 5 bedrooms, with layouts designed to meet various residential needs. Each home includes private elevator access, open-plan living areas, and outdoor terraces facing the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

At the top of the tower, a limited collection of penthouses includes larger outdoor spaces, private pools, and dedicated entertainment areas.

Amenities and Services

Residents will have access to a range of shared facilities, including an oceanfront pool deck, wellness and spa areas, fitness spaces, and a children’s activity centre. The property will also include a private marina with capacity for multiple vessels.

Services managed by Waldorf Astoria staff include concierge support, in-residence dining, and beach and poolside assistance, integrated into the day-to-day residential experience.

Development Context

The milestone coincides with ongoing development in Pompano Beach, supported by public and private investment in infrastructure and beachfront improvements. These include updates to public spaces, new facilities, and the expansion of retail and leisure areas along the coastline.

The Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach project is being developed by Coastal Construction, with residential units currently priced from approximately USD 2.65 million. The project is scheduled to welcome residents in mid-2027.
