Delta Elevates Onboard Dining with Spring Menu Refresh and New Gluten-Free Options

Delta Air Lines has introduced a spring refresh of its onboard food and beverage program, bringing an expanded selection of snacks and drinks designed to enhance variety, inclusivity, and overall passenger experience. The update places particular emphasis on gluten-free options and premium brand partnerships.

From Tito’s to Gluten-Free Bites: Delta Revamps Onboard Offerings

A key highlight of the refresh is the introduction of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, an Austin-based, gluten-free spirit that will debut on domestic flights from April 1 before rolling out across international routes in early summer. The addition reflects strong customer demand and aligns with Delta’s strategy to collaborate with well-recognised, quality-focused brands.

On the snack front, Delta has added the MadeGood Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bar to its complimentary onboard offerings. Positioned as a gluten-free option, the product supports the airline’s focus on accommodating diverse dietary preferences while maintaining simplicity and ingredient transparency.

With this addition, Delta’s standard snack selection now includes a mix of sweet and savoury items such as Lotus Biscoff cookies, SunChips Garden Salsa whole grain snacks, and Cheez-It crackers, providing passengers with a broader range of choices during their journey.

According to Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Dining Experience, the refresh reflects Delta’s continued focus on listening to customer and crew feedback while delivering a consistent, high-quality onboard offering.

Beyond snacks and beverages, the airline is also rolling out updated seasonal menus across premium cabins, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, and Delta First, on both domestic and international routes. New menu highlights include dishes such as classic French toast, roasted chicken salad, shrimp and grits created by Mashama Bailey, and spinach and ricotta ravioli.

At the same time, popular items like the Shake Shack Cheeseburger and Belgian-style waffles will continue to feature on select routes, maintaining familiarity alongside the new offerings.

The spring update forms part of Delta’s broader effort to refine the onboard experience through thoughtful curation, expanded choice, and partnerships with trusted brands, ensuring a more engaging and comfortable journey for passengers across all cabins.
