Benghazi Joins flydubai Network with New Service

flydubai has launched flights to Benghazi, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate services to Benghazi Benina International Airport in Libya.

The new route strengthens the airline’s presence in Africa, where it now serves 13 destinations across nine countries. The inaugural flight was welcomed at Benghazi Benina International Airport with a water cannon salute and a reception attended by local airport officials.

The service is expected to provide additional travel options between Libya, the UAE and destinations across flydubai’s network.

Three Weekly Flights Between Dubai and Benghazi

flydubai will operate flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Benghazi Benina International Airport (BEN) three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The route is available through the airline’s codeshare partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to book connecting itineraries on a single ticket with through baggage check-in across the combined network.

Expanding Connectivity Between Libya and the UAE
