Qatar Airways Plans Limited Flights to Doha Following Temporary Airspace Clearance
Qatar Airways has announced plans to operate a limited number of flights to Doha after receiving temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority for a safe operating corridor. Scheduled flight operations are temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace, and the airline will resume normal operations only once authorities confirm the airspace is fully reopened.
According to the airline, further updates on flight operations are expected on 08 March at 09:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC).
Under the current arrangement, Qatar Airways intends to operate a small number of flights to Hamad International Airport for passengers whose final destination is Doha.
The planned flights include:
07 March: London (LHR), Frankfurt (FRA)
08 March: Paris (CDG), Madrid (MAD), Rome (FCO), Bangkok (BKK)
These flights are being operated solely for passengers travelling to Doha and do not indicate a full resumption of the airline’s regular commercial schedule.
Passengers who wish to travel on these services can make bookings through qatarairways.com, the Qatar Airways mobile application, or authorized travel agents.
The airline has also advised passengers not to arrive at the airport unless they hold a confirmed ticket for one of the designated flights.

Qatar Airways stated that it will continue to monitor the situation and coordinate with relevant authorities regarding the reopening of Qatari airspace. The airline also acknowledged the disruption caused to passengers and thanked travellers for their patience during this period.
