SpiceJet Expands Fleet with Five Additional Boeing 737 Aircraft

SpiceJet has expanded its fleet with five additional Boeing 737 aircraft, including one Boeing 737 MAX, bringing the airline’s total inductions to 15 in just over a month. This includes 14 aircraft added on a damp lease, among them two 737 MAX, as well as the reactivation of a Boeing 737 MAX from the airline’s grounded inventory.

With these updates, SpiceJet’s operational fleet now stands at 35 aircraft. All five newly inducted planes have entered commercial service, supporting increased connectivity across key domestic and international routes.

The expansion strengthens SpiceJet’s winter schedule and supports rising passenger demand during the festive and holiday season. As of September 30, 2025, the airline operated 100 daily flights. Following the latest inductions, daily operations have increased to 176 flights.
